Intro

Introduction

Following the success of our previous football Festival/Tournaments at Storrington Community FC once again we are aiming to make the most of the excellent location, facilities and the pitch available at Storrington Community football club and host our annual Youth Football Festival/Tournament over the Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th May 2023 weekend Once again the organisers are not planning one of those long all day tournament, but each age group session lasting no longer than 4 hours and hopefully five 8-10 minutes games per team.

Tournament Schedule (TBC) Under 7&8s will be non competitive and 5 a side per team (each player will get a medal). Other age groups will be 6 a side format 8-10 mins matches with no half time or change ends. Tournament format to be decided nearer the date of the tournament. Location: Storrington Football Club, Pulborough Road, Storrington. Cost £45 Per Team – closing date 30th April 2023 Or when each age group is full. – whichever is first. Fixtures, Rules and competition to be affiliated by SCFA and released nearer the date. Notes Please email mathewwroe73@googlemail.com for form. Cost per team £45, your place in the tournament is not confirmed until form and payment rec’d Age Groups are applicable at the start of the 2022/2023 season Tournament to be fully sanctioned by SCFA, Tournament organiser will provide Referees

F.A.Q

We will be aiming for 10-12 teams per age group
Each club is affiliated to thier local county football association. If you do not know your affiliation number ask your club secretary.
Each team is allowed 10 players in thier squad on the day.

Please not proof of ID or evidence of 2022/23  player registration card with that club could  be requested on the day of the tournament.
Yes, we recommend you bring your own first aid kit.  We will have first aiders on site but each team must have its own first aiders and coaches 
We are aiming to have hot food being sold on site but you are welcome to bring own food and non alcoholic drinks.

We do not permit portable bbq on site.

There will be bins around the site for your rubbish
No, sorry on the days of the tournament the changing rooms will be a)  referee resting rooms and b) medical room
We do not plan to charge for car parking and we do not charge an entry fee to spectators.
